Karla
Prieto-Delgado is
a fourth generation Roces clan member who is currently working as a
freelance writer. She is a relative to the Prietos of Philippine
Daily Inquirer and granddaughter of Antonia Roces (sister of Chino
Roces). Last year she and famous photographer, Neil Oshima, came up
with a coffee table book entitled, The Philippine Forest:
Our Living Heritage.
It was launched in the country last November 15, 2001 at the Filipinas
Heritage Library as an addition to Centro Escolar University's Centennial
Publications. From a recent email
from Karla in Paris she mentioned about the success of their book
signing and launching at the Shakespeare and Company Bookshop.

Events:
Kitchenscapes
is a collection of 12 art work paintings from talented
Roces progeny, Alfredo "Ding". The week-long exhibit was held
last October 2, 2001 at The Crucible Gallery of SM Megamall. The artist,
Alfredo Roces, used to write for
the pre-Martial Law Manila Times before he migrated to Australia.
