Akda was a Tagalog literary magazine that started publication in March 6, 1962. It was conceptualized and managed by the daughter of Don Ramon Roces, Elena Roces-Guerrero. It was a compilation type of reading material published monthly by Liwayway Publications, Inc. The magazine featured famous world literature by well known writers like Earnest Hemmingway, William Shakespeare, Thomas Gray and others translated in Tagalog. Pamatnugutan Sylvia
